hommikul ajasin end väga vara üles, et vanaemaga koos vikerraadio õnnitlussaadet kuulata. mõtlesin seda salvestada ja filmida. diktor luges aga kõik sünnipäevalapsed nii vurinal ette, et ma peaagu oleks üldse üritusest ilma jäänud. siiski tabas kõrv tuttava nime teiste 86-aastasteks saajate seas ja silm veekihi üle vanaema pilgu tõmbumas.

it's like the ancient poem of Attar, the Sufi poet, "Conference of the Birds". there is also this Dave Hollnad record of the same name with the eponymous tune - Anthony Braxton and Sam Rivers play flutes on it. very nice cover. I am sure grandma liked it a lot, because birds are her fave's)

and she is now more into acid jazz.
perhaps when they reissue it you can have your new version on it. I didnt click yr lnk but I remember the album I had did have some kind of abstract shape on its cover. in any case - it's nopt about cover image - it's more associations with the topic of birds... I fondly remember the late 80s when my own grandam was into A-Ha "Hunting Hight and Low" )))
